Iron oil lamps for festival of Dewali

Our most striking item, these gorgeous painted pieces come in three sizes. The one pictured here is the smallest, and the only one at this time that we will agree to ship! They are very striking on a wall inside or outside, or as a fireplace screen.

Traditionally, they are used for the festival Dewali, also spelled Divali or Diwali, in the Gujarat. The cups hold oil and cotton wicks, and are lit to atract Lakshmi, goddess of wealth, to the household during the festivities.
